Acock

Acock, Charles was born c.1856 in Idbury, Oxfordshire. Son of Thomas Acock and Sarah Midwinter. He married Mary Jane Biggerstaff of Salford, Oxfordshire in 1883 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. He appears on the 1881 census for Adlestrop; 1891 & 1901 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. He was a shepherd's son, and later a general / road labourer.

He appears on the 1871 census for Idbury, Oxfordshire; 1881 for Adlestrop; 1901 for Bledington, Gloucestershire. He was a shepherd's son, and later a general labourer.

Acock, Richard a widower of Northleach, Gloucestershire, married Mary Wood 22 Dec 1799 in Adlestrop. The marriage was conducted by Rev. Thomas(iii) Leigh and witnessed by Richard Craddock and Ann Midwinter.
